K. Alex Wilkerson (‘27) graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2022 with a major in Politics and a minor in East Asian Studies. Prior to law school, Alex worked as a congressional investigator on the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary. During his 1L summer, Alex worked as a Summer Associate at the Tokyo office of Morrison Foerster and as a judicial intern to Judge Benjamin Beaton of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Alex will spend his 2L summer as a Summer Associate at Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C. At UChicago, Alex is a member of the Edmund Burke Society and a Research Assistant to Professor Richard A. Epstein. After graduation, Alex will clerk for Judge Elizabeth L. Branch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. His favorite book is Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.
